The shell also suppresses inertia, allowing Alex to make sudden changes in direction while traveling at great speeds. The shell’s abilities increase in proportion to his speed. Alex’s mental processing speed is also increased to that of a genius. He is able to read, process, and recall information very quickly, allowing him to learn and adapt much faster than the average human being. Alex ages faster than the average human.
